Animal Biome, a biotech company specializing in animal health, shared their experience with Scispot and Zapier during the webinar. Initially, managing around 350 samples weekly using Google Sheets was inefficient and error-prone, causing delays in customer communication.

Improved Customer Communication: Using Zapier, Animal Biome connected Scispot with Gmail to automate customer notifications. Instead of manually updating Google Sheets and sending individual emails, they used Scispot's sample manager to filter and select batches of samples. With a simple click, they triggered Zapier to send customized emails, drastically reducing the time spent on this task and improving communication reliability.

When a new order is submitted, Scispot LIMS automatically creates an ID with a barcode, integrating seamlessly with forms and e-commerce platforms like Typeform, JotForm, Google Forms, Shopify, or WooCommerce. Barcode labels are generated, and kits are sent to customers, who are then notified with tracking details through Gmail, Outlook, Slack, or Teams.

Upon receiving samples, they are registered by barcode scanning, and tasks are created for the received samples in monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, or Asana. Lab technicians are promptly notified when sample statuses change. Samples are processed, plates are sent to instruments, and data is brought back for QC in Scispot lab sheets. The data is analyzed, and the QC manager is notified for report signing using Slack or Teams. Finally, the finalized reports are sent to customers.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
